Job Title: Associate Designer/ Intern (Project Specific)
Job Type: Part-Time
Job Location: Remote (Hybrid Opportunities Available In NYC/FL)
Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate Designer or an Interior Design Intern to join our team for a period of 6-months to assist with various aspects of our projects and the continued development of our internal processes. On projects, the intern will work closely with our team of designers to support the design process from concept to completion, and will assist with promoting our work on social media. In addition, they will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment. We're looking for someone to join our team to help us continue to grow, innovate, and develop a strong pipeline of business.
Responsibilities:
Assist with space planning, material selection, and furniture layout
Collaborate with designers on design concepts and ideas
Create design presentations and mood boards
Assist with preparing digital floor plans and 3D models
Attend client meetings and site visits (where reasonable)
Assist with managing social media accounts (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest) and creating content for these platforms
Help develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the studio, including through social media channels
Monitor and report on social media analytics
Requirements:
A background in, or passion for, interior design.
For interns, you must currently be pursuing an associates or bachelors degree in interior design or a related field
A proficiency for design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (We will train you!)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Availability to work remotely 15-20 hours per week for 6-months
Experience with social media management and content creation is a plus

In this role, you’ll provide vital support to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with our design team and clients, managing schedules, communication, and other administrative tasks. There will be opportunities to provide design input on client projects.Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for the team.
Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring timely, professional, and clear communication.
Project Coordination: Assist in tracking project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables.
Document Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, contracts, and design presentations.
Problem Solving: Anticipate challenges and proactively address them with innovative solutions.
Research: Assist with sourcing materials, vendor coordination, and maintaining design resources.

Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or client-facing role preferred.
